Not only is fall just around the corner here in Germany, but also time has come for me to kind of re-launch my blog. This time my friend Nina picked up the camera and patiently shot all those pictures for me.
I wanted to start with some easy, yet chic outfits that I actually wear on a regular basis. As You will see in the future posts, I get most of my clothes from fast fashion stores such as Zara. They provide beautiful high-fashion inspired collections but mainly the prices are accessible (BIG point for a student on a certain budget). But I guess that’s no news to You.
Then again I’m a big sucker for designer jewelry and bags. I’d rather have a few key pieces that I can wear a lifetime than a huge quantity of accessories that will only accompany me for a season or two.
When talking about accessories, there is actually a hero in this story : Galeries Lafayette! I desperately looked for the everywhere sold-out mise en dior tribal earrings and after basically stalking Dior’s costumer service for weeks I finally had the chance that Galeries Lafayette Paris just got a few delivered.
But not enough, three weeks later I visited my parents in the south of France and popped in to Galeries Lafayette Montpellier. My first stop as usual: the Sandro corner… and to be honest, I ended up looking at nothing else in the store.
This is where I met the two loveliest salesgirls… Ever! We started chatting about how much we love fashion and how complicated it can be to stay in a certain budget, especially when you’re surrounded by so many great clothes day-by-day. It went on like this for half an hour while I tried on a few pieces. And this is where I found this lovely parka. It is so casual, yet so chic and oh-so-comfy… simply the perfect parka!
For this look I chose to slightly dress up the parka but within a practical day look. No sky-high-heels, no miniature bag.
I hope You enjoy it.
